Full Day Kayak Tour through the Nestos Gorge

This full-day kayak tour takes you through the Nestos Gorge, one of the most important wildlife refuges and aesthetic forests in Europe. A breathtaking 22-kilometer tour from Stavroupoli to Toxotes. This area is a refuge for wild fauna and flora and is included in the UN’s “Sites of International Importance for Migratory Birds” and “Specially Protected Areas”. The grandeur of this area is the reason why it was declared an Aesthetic Forest in 1977.

River Nestos forms its course through rough and diverse terrain, creating its well-known meanders. The ideal way to explore this paradise is by kayak.
