Our midday tour invites you to explore the awe-inspiring monasteries and ancient rock formations of the area beneath the radiant midday sun.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with Greece's spiritual and natural heritage.

Experience the magic of Meteora at midday and learn the history of the area from a local tour leader, when the sun illuminates this mystical place, and the monasteries and rocks take on a surreal, ethereal quality.

Program

The excursion begins from Kalambaka's train station, once the train arrives at around 13.00 pm.
On this tour, you get to see all 6 monasteries, visit 3 of them, and stop at the most panoramic spots to enjoy the view and take stunning photos.
The excursion ends with your return to Kalampaka's railway station.

Note

Dress Code

Visitors and pilgrims are required to adhere to a dress code to enter the monasteries.

Women must wear a skirt (covering the knee) and have their shoulders covered.
Men must wear long trousers or shorts (covering the knee) and have their shoulders covered as well.
