Rafting in Voidomatis - Zagori region
Activity Description
This beautiful water route passes through the heart of the Vikos-Aoos National Park. The river Voidomatis springs near the village of Vikos in central Zagori and after crossing the green gorge of Vikos meets Aoos in the valley of Konitsa. Surrounded by a rare natural environment, of enormous ecological value, Voidomatis offers us unforgettable experiences. During our descent we pass through age-old plane trees, caves, arched bridges and monasteries of the 17th century. The most daring can also dive in the crystal clear and icy waters of the river.
Our descent starts from the Bridge of Aristi and ends after the stone single-arched Bridge of Klidonia, just below our base. The 6 km of the route runs without special technical requirements and difficulties. Just before the end of the route there is the extremely fun passage of a small artificial waterfall, as the culmination of an exciting day! The route is ideal for beginners who want to get acquainted with the activity of rafting, without previous experience.
The descent ends shortly after the stone bridge of Klidonia and its artificial waterfalls, in front of our base, where there are organized facilities with locker rooms to change.
Rafting on the Voidomatis river takes place all year round!

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
The meeting point is the rafting base where we will provide you with the necessary rafting equipment. You will wear the equipment in the changing rooms.
As soon as you get ready, we will transfer you with the company vehicle to the starting point (Aristi-Papingo bridge).
There, the guides will make the necessary safety briefing before the descent.
The total duration of the activity is about 3 - 3.5 hours (paddling on the river: c. 1.5 hours).

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
- Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
