Rafting Tempi Valley

A green serpentine route of exceptional beauty with passages of the 1st and 2nd degree of difficulty, in one of the most important natural monuments of our country with a huge wealth of myths.

The Muses choose Pineos for their residence, the god Apollo chases the nymph, Daphne, Aphrodite comes every time she wants to regain her purity, while Apollo defeats "Darkness" in the river.

In this stony gap between Mount Olympus and Kissavos, which is overgrown with centuries-old plane trees and hydrophilic trees, egrets, herons, flamingos, and cormorants find refuge.

A route that starts shortly after Hassan Baba's tekke, passes under the suspension bridge of Tempe, with a proposed stop at Ag. Friday for a visit that only kneeling can see the "Agiasma", next to the ancient places of worship, the traditional Dristela, and ending at the bridge of Rapsani.

A descent for introduction to rafting, ideal for families, schools, and beginners.

Archery and a light snack by the river will end our escape.

Depending on the point of arrival and departure:

• visit to the traditional village of Ampelakia that hosted the first world collaboration with the Schwarz museum.
• visit to Rapsani.
• possibility for tasting at a local Winery (Dugu) within the Tempo Valley after consultation.
• bath in the cold thermal baths in the Redwater.
