Horse Riding lessons under Meteora
Activity Description
Imagine a magical riding experience at the foot of Meteora, with the imposing stone columns rising up around you as you follow paths in the shadow of these unique formations. The riding lesson lasts about 20 minutes and is designed for beginners and advanced riders.
Course Description:
Reception and Preparation (5 minutes): Participants meet the trainer, who will introduce them to the friendly and trained horses. The instructor will explain the basic principles of riding, such as the correct position on the horse, basic commands and how to communicate with the animal.
Training and Practice (10 minutes):
We start with a short ride on safe ground where the instructor guides the participants in basic techniques such as maintaining balance and using the reins correctly to direct the horse. In this part the participants learn to coordinate their movements with those of the horse, gradually feeling more confident.
Walk and Enjoy Nature (5 minutes):
We finish the lesson with a short walk under the imposing shadows of Meteora. Participants have the opportunity to admire the unique landscape and experience a peaceful moment of connection with the horse and nature.
This course is a beautiful and short introduction to horse riding against the backdrop of one of the most unique landscapes of Greece.
