Join us on board as we reveal the hidden gems of the Saronic Gulf, immerse you in local cuisine and guide you through the history of significant archaeological sites, like the temple of Aphaea on Aegina Island or Ancient Epidaurus, the sanctuary of god Asclepius and the most important healing center of the Ancient Greek and Roman world. Experience swimming, snorkeling, hiking, biking and much more, creating unforgettable memories to cherish for years!
Our sailing adventures go beyond the typical yacht charters, offering an authentic experience, including but not limited to swimming in secluded beaches, visiting many beautiful islands, enjoying various activities while on them, while our crew is at your entire disposal to make your sailing holidays in Greece a truly memorable experience! You will be more than just a traveler you will feel like a local! Our very small groups of maximum 8 guests on board will guarantee the intimate and authentic holidays you are looking for.
The Saronic sailing adventure is also ideal for families traveling with younger children. The generally protected from winds Saronic sea provides the ideal conditions for a fantastic family sailing experience!
If you are a family or group of 4 or more, you can even book a private sailing holiday, and have the entire yacht just for you, ensuring absolute privacy on board! This is a great way to explore the islands at your own pace and personalize the itinerary and activities exactly as you want.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Athens – Poros island
Welcome aboard! On our first day, you will board our boat, your home for the coming week. We will begin our trip with a detailed boat tour, providing all the necessary instructions needed as you settle in your cabins. We will then sail to our first destination, Poros Island, (≈28nm, ≈4 hrs sail). As we enter Poros harbor, take your time to marvel at the scenic amphitheatrical little town, the historic Clock Tower and the pastel-colored buildings along the harbor front.
Enjoy some free time to explore the picturesque town on your own before joining us out for a welcome dinner all together!

Day 2: Poros - Dokos island - Ermioni
After breakfast on board, we will set sail towards our port for today, situated on the south coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, specifically, the quaint small town of Ermioni (≈22nm, ≈ 3.5 hrs sail).
En route, we will make a stop at the uninhabited island of Dokos, dedicating the day to swimming, snorkeling and relaxation on board. Our crew will prepare a delicious lunch for you! Dokos is a favorited destination for sailing boats, boasting clear waters, shelter from almost all winds, and an allure for those who appreciate wild landscapes, peace, tranquility and breathtaking sunset views.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Ermioni, where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Ermioni - Spetses island
Today we will sail to the enchanting and lush island of Spetses (≈11nm, ≈ 1.5 – 2 hrs sail). Known for its extensive naval tradition and notable contribution to the War of Independence in 1821, Spetses exudes a captivating blend of romance and cosmopolitan charm. Explore the island by circumnavigating it on a bike, making stops at a beach with an underwater cave, perfect for a refreshing swim. In the harbor town of Dapia, cars are prohibited, enhancing the quaint atmosphere.
If you are travelling with your family, consider treating the kids to a charming horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobble-stoned streets.

Day 4: Spetses – Hydra island
Following breakfast on board, enjoy the morning both on and off the yacht, with opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and basking in the sun at a beautiful beach on Spetses.
Next, we will sail to Hydra island (≈16-17nm, ≈ 2-2.5 hrs sail). Upon arrival, you are free to explore this car-free island, where transportation is limited to mules, your feet or water taxis. Hydra is an elegant artist’s colony with a magical and romantic touch. Wander around the numerous art shops, handmade jewelry stores and clothing boutiques, or join us on a hike inland to ascend to the Prophet Elias monastery. Hydra is a paradise for hiking lovers and naturalists, with its diverse natural environment and rich history and tradition make it a unique destination to cherish. The sailing boat is entirely at your disposal, whether you prefer to relax on board or enjoy swimming in one of the island’s rocky beaches!

Day 5: Hydra - Aegina island - inland tour & Aphaea temple
Another wonderful day awaits you! After breakfast, we will sail to Aegina island, renowned for its pistachios (≈25nm, ≈ 4.5 hrs sail). Depending on available berths at the marina and/or weather conditions, we will choose between the main port of Aegina or the smaller charming port of Perdika.
Upon arrival in Aegina later in the afternoon, we will embark on an exciting tour inland, to discover and explore some of its hidden gems! Our first stop is the temple of Aphaea (dating back to 500 BC), located on a pine – clad hill at the northeast side of the island. We will then explore the island’s former capital Paleachora, a deserted “ghost town” with numerous Byzantine churches and remnants, following hiking trails for panoramic views of the Saronic Gulf. Our journey continues to the impressive Monastery of Saint Nektarios, one of the largest in the Balkans.
Tour duration: approx. 2.5 hrs.
Once we are back, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the portside, admire the neoclassical buildings, sample various local pistachio products, before we all gather for dinner.
Tip: Don’t forget to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from the floating groceries – traditional boats in the port selling fruits & vegetables.

Day 6: Hydra - Aegina island (Temple of Aphaea & Ag. Nektarios monastery
This morning, before our departure from Aegina, if we are docked at the main port, you will have some free time to visit the Temple of Apollo at the archaeological site of Kolona, which lies within walking distance. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the Archaeological Museum, the first of its kind in Greece, established in 1829.
We will then set sail to the nearby verdant island of Agistri (≈9nm, max. 1.5 hrs sail), drop anchor and enjoy swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters! After a delightful lunch, our compass will guide us to our final destination for the day, the small port of Old Epidaurus (≈9nm, max. 1.5 hrs sail).
Upon arrival at the port of Epidaurus, we can offer a tour to the archaeological site of Ancient Epidaurus, one of the most important healing centers of antiquity. Here, the famous Epidaurus Ancient Theatre stands, an amphitheater renowned for its excellent acoustics, hosting international festivals to this day. You can pair the historical tour of Epidaurus with a visit at a nearby Olive Oil family-run Farm, delving into the olive oil making process and tasting some exquisite extra virgin olive oil!

Day 7: Aegina (Archaeological site of Kolona) - Athens
This marks the final morning of our sailing adventure before we sail back to Athens (≈32nm, ≈ 4.5 hrs sail). We will take you to a beautiful, secluded spot, allowing you spend your morning swimming, diving from the yacht or reading your favorite book. A delightful lunch with traditional local delicacies will be served on board before we return to the yacht’s base. This is the point where your sailing adventure practically concludes. While our crew bids farewell, you can stay on board this evening and depart next morning.

Day 8: Departures
In the morning, between 9:00am and 9:30am, it’s time to check out from the boat. You can either arrange a transfer to the airport if you have a flight to catch or continue your holidays in Greece! If needed, we can assist in arranging transfers for your convenience.

- Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 14 and 30 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
- Cancellation 14 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
